The Annual Symposium of the Amsterdam Leadership Lab was successfully held on September 16th at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Prof. dr. Mark van Vugt kicked off our annual leadership symposium in a hybrid workplace!

Our first keynote speaker was Gonny Vink from work21, who provided her intriguing perspective on “how to lead remotely." Then, a great panel discussion was followed and led by Dr. Killian Wawoe, Renée-Andrée Koornstra, Jan Kwint, Gonny Vink, and Prof. dr. Mark van Vugt discussed the opportunities and challenges of leading in a remote workplace.

Jean-Paul van Londen from LTP delivered our second keynote, reflecting on his insightful vision for new leadership.

Dr. Wendy Andrews, Prof. dr. Mark van Vugt, and Prof. dr. Reinout de Vries offered a series of flash talks. They presented their insightful research on the development of leadership tools.

Our final keynote was a virtual presentation by Anne Ribbers from the UNLOQ. She shared her innovative thoughts on e-coaching. Then, the final flash talks were by Dr. Jacek Buczny, Dr. Sanne Feenstra, Jian Shi, and Danae Huijser, and they shared their ongoing research projects in our lab.
Finally, Dr. Wendy Andrews and Prof. dr. Mark van Vugt shared their reflections as conclusions, bringing the symposium to a successful close.
